Sick fanzine No. 1, Ammonites, Reward System. Vol Sec, free mp3's
punkdaddy writes: A few goodies more in your swag bag? Seeing as how it's the season of good will, how about some additional tracks on the punkbrighton jukebox for starters. Thanks to Alan Hall for sending in Emma Sharpe's Wonderland. I unearthed Vol Sec's Love (sic) which I meant to upload about two years ago. Where does the time go? Also found some more photos of Vol Sec which I've added to their page, with more to come, along with some new photos of Reward System.
There's also SICK! fanzine (No.1) to download, billed as 'Eastbourne's only alternative mag', it features Brighton acts the Piranhas, Joby & the Hooligans and the Depressions, mixed in with an interview with Adam & the Ants (by Sickey). Look out for issue 2 next month.
10 years of punkbrighton.co.uk: Here we are then at the start and finish of another decade. Bloody Nora! In that time punkbrighton has grown beyond all expectations since our modest launch in January 2000 (go compare!). The site now boasts over 300 web pages containing 1500 photos, the punkbrighton jukebox now features over 30 bands and 70 tracks, the bands page has grown to cover more than 60 acts. To celebrate 10 years of this website this year, some special treats are being lined up along the way. More news on this as and when. Up yours!
